Both when we left Ushuaia and when our cruise into the port of Puerto Montt was cancelled due to bad seas, we got to sail through inland passages that gave us great views of the Chilean fjords.
I don't know what all we missed by by-passing Puerto Montt, but the views of the Chilean Fjords was and exceptional substitution.
